The Marks
Primary Mark — Gold
The core mitochondrion mark in mitochondrial gold on transparent. Default mark for light and photographic backgrounds. Never recolor or add effects.
Mark on Moss
Gold mark on deep moss ink field. Primary usage on dark surfaces, headers, and app icons.
Mark on Palm Ink
Gold mark on the palm ink field (#0F3D2E). For the darkest surfaces — app icons, footers, print on dark stock.
Mark on Serious Viridian
Gold mark on the serious viridian field (#2C5F4A) — the primary brand green. For headers, signage, and dark presentations.
Mark on Cream
Moss mark with gold matrix spark on warm parchment. For light editorial and print contexts.

The Direction
01The mark is a diagram, not a cartoon
The mitochondrion is rendered as an anatomically-informed cross-section — double membrane, lamellar cristae, matrix granules, one ATP spark. Keep strokes crisp, mitred, single-weight. Never round it into an icon or add gradients, glows, or bevels.
02Elongated by nature
The organelle is longer than it is tall. Preserve the roughly 220:140 aspect ratio. Do not stretch, squash, or crop into a circle.
03Gold is earned
Mitochondrial gold signals energy — it should feel like a spark, not a wash. Reserve it for the mark, key accents, and eyebrow labels. Body surfaces stay cream, viridian, and celadon.
04The Honest Line is permanent
Every surface carries the ethical anchor: this is a culinary and educational discipline, not medical advice. Never make therapeutic claims. The line is part of the brand, not fine print.
05Quiet, breathing motion
Motion is slow and respiratory — long eases, gentle scale. Reveals should feel like the page is breathing in, never snappy or bouncy.
Clear space & minimums
Keep clear space around the mark equal to the height of one crista shelf on all sides. Minimum mark size: 24px tall on screen, 8mm in print.
